A piece about alternative approach to Augmented Reality.
A screen is a screen, might also be a window, and more.
A window is an opening to information?
The installation for my CalArts MidRes group show used Kinect to do head-tracking and created a holographic perspective-change effect based on the user's location. This simulated the effect of looking out of a window. I also used Kinect to do hand-tracking, so when the user moved their hands there would be a particle trail that revealed what the camera saw. This created a mirror-like effect.
